The Master Grande Memovox model is equipped with an alarm and a perpetual calendar featuring a mechanism that takes
into account the length of the current month (28, 30 or 31 days) and counts a February 29th every leap year.
The alarm is equipped with an original feature that gives the user a striking mechanism.

All these data are linked together by an ingenious system, a genuine programming feat that is entirely mechanical :
one need only set the initial date and all the functions will subsequently follow on correctly in sequence.
Our time measurement is based on the Gregorian calendar, i.e. a year of 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds, or
in decimals 365.242192 days.

In practice, the excess yearly one-quarter of a day (0.242192) is corrected by the February 29th in leap years. The few
missing decimals are then compensated for every 100 years, by eliminating the February 29th.
To ensure greater precision, this elimination is not performed when the number of centuries can be divided by 4.This was
the case in the year 2000 (20 being divisible by 4), which was a normal leap year. It is therefore only in the year 2100 that
the programming of your Master Grand Réveil’s perpetual calendar will have to be corrected. Until then, your watch
will count the days, months and years correctly, allowing for leap years.

It is only on March 1st 2100 that the calendar will incorrectly indicate Monday February 29th, whereas the actual date
will be Monday March 1st, due to the above-mentioned centuryyear compensation system.

The date of your watch and the moon phases, which vary by one day every 122 years, will have to be adjusted by a
qualified watchmaker.

The «1000 Hours Control» test

Jaeger-LeCoultre subjects its watches to the rigorous «1000 Hours Control» test programme. Unique in its kind, this test
consists of 1000 hours of comprehensive, stringent checks. The «1000 Hours Control» seal or marking, affixed or
engraved on the back of your watch, certifies that it hasundergone this observation programme in our laboratories
and has successfully passed all tests. The latter include rate regularity checks, reactions to changes in temperature and
barometric pressure, resistance to shocks and magnetic fields, as well as water-resistance tests at pressures of 3 atmospheres.

Your watch is therefore capable of withstanding the trials of everyday life when you wear it on your wrist.
The criteria of the «1000 Hours Control» programme go far beyond the official timekeeping test standards, which concern
only part of the movement. Jaeger-LeCoultre tests both the movement and the fully cased-up watch.

Jam ini unik dan antik... tidak seperti penunjuk waktu seperti biasanya.... karena jam PAKETA ini adalah jam 24 jam atau jam 24 hours....

Beberapa kota / daerah di Russia, memerlukan jam seperti ini... karena adanya perubahan iklim dimana... terdapat beberapa daerah yang waktu sudah malam hari, namun masih terang... Adapula daerah yang sudah pagi... namun masih gelap.... Jadi diperlukan jam 24 hours seperti ini agar dapat menginformasikan.. jam saat ini ... menunjukkan pagi, siang atau malam....

Jam jenis 24 hours seperti ini juga dipakai oleh angkatan laut Russia, yang bertugas di kapal selam.... Di dalam kedalaman laut di kapal selam, informasi pagi, siang dan malam.. rancu...

Dengan menggunakan jam PAKETA 24 hours ini.... informasi pagi dan malam dapat diketahui secara jelas... Bagi yang tidak / belum biasa menggunakan jam 24 hours seperti ini, pasti akan sedikit bingung... karena cara membacanya tidak seperti jam seperti biasanya....

Cara membaca jam PAKETA ini adalah... membaca jarum jam (jarum pendek) berdasarkan index arabic number..... jadi tidak mengacu ke index seperti jam biasa....

Jarum menit (jarum panjang) berdasarkan ke index jam seperti biasanya..

Jadi dari foto di bawah ini... jam menunjukkan jam 11 malam lewat 23 menit (23.23)

Terdapat inner rotating bezel yang dapat diputar dengan crown yang berada di posisi kanan bawah..

Angka genap berada di tengah dial (Angka berwarna biru)... dan angka ganjil berada di inner rotating bezel (Angka berwarna putih) ...

Terdapat 2 crown.... crown yang berada di tengah.. jika pada posisi default.. diputar ke arah depan.... berfungsi untuk mengisi power reserve jam PAKETA ini.... dan seperti biasa... jika ditarik berfungsi untuk mengadjust jam....
Crown yang berada dibawahnya lagi berfungsi untuk memutar inner bezel...
Inner Bezel masih dapat berputar / berfungsi dengan baik....
Terdapat angka 213 pada case back jam PAKETA ini.... mungkin ini adalah produksi ke 213...(bukan jurusan Grogol - Kampung Melayu.... :-) )

Bila Anda perhatikan... semua jarum PAKETA ini (Jarum jam, menit dan detik).. berwarna biru...
